This week on All the Cool Parts - our very first edition of Hard Core Repertoire!!  I talk about music as language, and then get hard core with Pierre Boulez and the Ensemble InterContemporain.  We listen to their performances of Sur Incises, Messagesquisse and Anthems 2.  Open your ears and rock out to the hard core sounds of these awesome pieces!

This week on All the Cool Parts, I'm presenting the 1995 Argo release Dance Mix.  This is a compilation CD of dance inspired pieces by living composers (except Mr. Bernstein).  I play excerpts from pieces by John Adams, Aaron Jay Kernis, Libby Larsen, John Harbison, Michael Torke, Robert Moran, Michael Daugherty and Christopher Rouse.
